Die Wanderbühne wurde für die Eröffnungsrede anlässlich der letzten Ausstellung des von Künstler/innen geführten Kunstraums B/2 in Leipzig konzipiert. Als freistehende Skulptur und begehbare Bühnenplattform stellte sie einen performativ nutzbaren Raum zur Verfügung. Vor dem Hintergrund der Schließung des Kunstraumes und dessen sozialen Möglichkeiten steht die Bühne für weitere potentielle Auftritte.
The Wanderbühne (moveable stage) was conceived as a platform for the opening speech presented at the last show held at the artist-run exhibition space Kunstraum B/2 in Leipzig. As both a freestanding sculpture and a stage, it created a performative space within the exhibition. Against the background of the closure of the gallery—and thus the foreclosure of its social potential—the stage stands for the possibility of other future performances.
